The Carboniferous period

$400.00

Once upon a time, and this is 100% true, the world was a giant swamp. Bugs and amphibians ruled the world. Sharks rulers the seas. Dragonflies at a 12’’ wing span. Centipedes were the size of school buses. Ferns and fell trees were absolutely everywhere. The climate was warm and humid. This was possible because there was SO much oxygen in the air the bugs could grow to monstrous sizes and it was not uncommon for organic matter to spontaneously combust. This is also the time when our fossil fuels were born. ISN’T THAT AWESOME! I think so. This period of time was called the Carboniferous Period during the late Paleozoic era.
